Noosa Beaches Worth Getting on a Flight For!
Noosa is home to some of the best beaches in Australia — they’re dotted along endless stretches of white sand, rolling blue surf with a welcoming water temperature suited to swimming, surfing and relaxing any time of year.
Noosa Main Beach
If you get past the melting pot of tourists around you, then Noosa Main Beach is hands down one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast. Facing north, it’s the sheltered place to run to when most of the coast’s beaches are blown out.
While you're here, take the time to walk through the national park, taking a dip in the coves along the way. Want to enjoy the beach without actually stepping on it? Pull up a chair at the Noosa surf club or at one of the fancy cafes dotted along the boardwalk.

Tea Tree Bay
Surrounded by beautiful pandanus trees, golden sand, and a vast stretch of blue sky, Tea Tree Bay Beach is one of the most stunning locations in Noosa National Park. It is an excellent spot for a peaceful walk or run, or even just to take a series of photos with friends and family.
Swimming isn’t recommended here, as there’s plenty of rocks within the waves. There’s lots to explore across the shore, such as crabs and fish – so you can spend an afternoon discovering something new.

Sunshine Beach
Sunshine Beach is unlike any other spot in Noosa. Surrounded by a canopy of green trees and pandanus palms, this is the perfect destination for an afternoon with loved ones.
It is the beginning of a 15km stretch of sand and surf. You can come here in the evening, watch the exquisite sunset and walk along the crisp white beach. Take a dip, walk to a local cafe, or take your puppy along for the ride. From June to October, you can watch whales or go for a dip along the famous coastline. What an excellent way to spend a day.

Noosa Fairy Pool
Not a ‘beach’ per se, but the closest rival to Mykonos’ picture-perfect location are without a doubt the ‘fairy’ variety, hidden just a short walk away in Noosa National Park. The pools can be pretty popular on weekends so plan to go early to beat the crowds and the hot midday sun.

Little Cove
An untouched Noosa beauty, you’ll only be sharing the sand here with residents in the beachfront properties or wandering tourists who have their beach-radar on high alert. If a quiet dip with the family is on the agenda, Little Cove is the place to make it happen. One of the most hidden in our roundup of the best beaches in Noosa.
